      Description

seems that the autoupdater may not be rebooting and shutting down instead. Also, the web interface keeps showing that the router would be rebooted but never gets updated. I have to go physically reboot usually twice to get the system back up. (but web interface doesn't come up (see Bug #1502: web interface needs to be manually started)

That is also not normal behavior, and not something that anyone else has seen that I'm aware of. Between your previous report and this one I'm guessing you have some other unrelated problem on your system. Please use the forum to diagnose issues, if a bug has been determined from that information, then it can be entered here.

hardware is Watchguard x1000 with VPN accelerator, 256mb RAM and 40gb HD

this has been happening since I moved to RC1

            terminal session up

            reload browser on previous URL

            503 - Service Not Available

about a minute or so goes on and terminal session disconnects.

            C:\Users\Leon>

about another minute or two then terminal session can reconnect

if i reload the same URL I now get this:

            Diagnostics: Firmware: Auto Update

Packages are currently being reinstalled in the background.

Do not make changes in the GUI until this is complete.

I've seen this before and it seems not to ever go away

I came back to this a few hours later and the browser was still showing the disk heads moving. I did a browser reload and it finally went away.

                1. it seems u need to reload the page
                2. it also seems to take a long time might be better to have a % indicator as well
