      Hello,

      i just checking which usb wifi device pfsense support.
      On supported wireless cards i don` t see any new chip:

      so, is there updated version? if not, can pfsense support:
      USB TP-Link TL-WN821N ?

        There is currently no support for 802.11N in pfSense. Some 'N' cards will work but only in 'G' mode. A recent patch to the 2.1 snapshots enabled a backport of newer Atheros drivers but will still not run in 'N' mode.

        The TP-Link TL-WN821N comes in at least 3 versions that each use a different chipset. You would have to determine exactly which one your is.

          Can you recommended me which will work with atheros chip?

            I use a mini-pci card not USB so can't recommend anything personally.  :-
            Wallabybob has used and recommended some USB wifi devices as access points:
