Today's images don't boot
-
I have updated to today's update (1949 and i386) and system was unable to boot. Same problem when installing from today's image. (pfSense-LiveCD-2.1-BETA0-i386-20121129-1949.iso.gz).
Had to roll back to the previous one, nothing terrible ;-)

I have this running fine here (I am using it as my live firewall now):
2.1-BETA0 (amd64) built on Thu Nov 29 20:21:43 EST 2012 FreeBSD edge.home 8.3-RELEASE-p5 FreeBSD 8.3-RELEASE-p5 #1: Thu Nov 29 20:51:29 EST 2012 root@snapshots-8_3-amd64.builders.pfsense.org:/usr/obj./usr/pfSensesrc/src/sys/pfSense_SMP.8 amd64

Problem was for i386, you tried amd64.
If needed, i can try to reproduce the problem and take screen pictures.

Ahh.. I took "images" to mean you had tried both…. Sorry.

Any more detail on this? Errors you see? What happens?

Just updated my one i386 VM and it booted OK. No problems here… so either there's more to it, or it's been fixed since the image that didn't work.

Yes, problem solved. I've also updated the vm (a virtualbox running inside an ubuntu 12.10) to the lastest version (2.1-BETA0 (i386) built on Thu Nov 29 19:50:12 EST 2012) and everything runs smooth !
Thank you for the good work pfsense team !
