      Hi all

I setup a pfsense box with 3 nics:
First 2 are 3com pci nics and works great.
The internal sis 965 nic isn't seen by the system than I added a usb nic:

      axe0: vendor 0x0b95 product 0x1720, rev 2.00/0.01, addr 2
      miibus0: <mii bus="">on axe0
      rlphy0: <rtl8201l 10="" 100="" media="" interface="">on miibus0
      rlphy0:  10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto
      axe0: Ethernet address: 00:06:4f:0d:b5:34
axe0: if_start running deferred for Giant

The card works but from dmesg I can see a lot of this messages:

      axe0: read PHY failed

and after some hours the card stops to work, from ifconfig I can see:

      axe0: flags=108c43 <up,broadcast,running,oactive,simplex,multicast,needsgiant>mtu 1500
              inet 192.168.100.254 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.100.255
              inet6 fe80::206:4fff:fe0d:b534%axe0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1
              ether 00:06:4f:0d:b5:34
              media: Ethernet autoselect (none)

and If I try to ping something:

      ping 192.168.100.1

      PING 192.168.100.1 (192.168.100.1): 56 data bytes
ping: sendto: No buffer space available

rebooting the pfsense box fix the problem and all return to works normally.

      Any idea ?

      thanks

      Giacomo</up,broadcast,running,oactive,simplex,multicast,needsgiant></rtl8201l></mii>
