I am using a Supermicro A1SAM-2550F for my PFsense machine.  I was looking to connect up the dedicated IPMI ethernet connector and have had some issues.  The bios says "IPMI Firmware Revision-not working".  I know this isn't a pfsense issue but I know lots of folks on here use these boards, as do it.  Do I need to configure a dip switch somewhere?  I cannot figure out what needs doing.  Thanks in advance.

Are you able to see your MB from IPMIView application? You can also reach the Webgui from any browser, you must know the assigned IP to IPMI interface. I have a A1SRi-2558, IPMI works pretty fine.
Try to get the most updated firmware and bios.
