Solved : how to add service name in pppoe server

I have 4 ISP in my l3 isolated switch running mikrotik.

when I put put pfsense as fifth ISP,  all my clients dial to pfsense by default and get 691, invalid username and password error.

I am planning to remove all mikrotik and put pfsense.

I want to configure pppoe service name in pfsense.

I googled almost a month now and got nothing.

I checked mpd.conf in pppoe1-vpn but no sample available there and again nothing on google too.

I am reaching my rnd deadline, if its not possible, I may have to switch to mikrotik.

also, how can I remove  256 user limit,  I'm running pfsense in hyper v , 8 core processor with 8 gig ram, I know its an over kill, but I have around 4000 customers.

if its possible via gold support, please let me know the charges by email.

Eh… Click the "Advanced and MLPPP" link in your PPPoE-type interface settings! (And stop bumping threads after 20 minutes! If you need a 15-minutes reaction time, get a commercial SLA  >:()

I tried it, banged my head to the server and still can't get it to work, also web ui dies and gives an php error.

are there any how to, or step by step available ?

Yeah, click the link as noted above. Configure service name. Nothing dies here, get a sane install.

also there is a bug when I have 254 users selected in pppoe server, the interface –-> PPP edit page while saving gives error ... input variable exceeded 1000.

SSH into pfSense, select 8, and then type:

ps ax | grep 'ppp'

This might work:

done and done …. solved it and also added it to the web GUI ...

and yes it goes to config.xml

successfully ran it with 5 pppoe server on same interface and different radius ,  and also passing clients not meant for my server to wan to dial to my other providers ...

my gepon network is is now live with 1000+ users ..
max concurrent users 450+

I love pfsense ...

now I need to know how to dial more than 20 pppoe connections on my single wan interface.

Hi, Sagardawa!
I do not mean to bother you but the files you uploaded seem to be removed.
I am now trying to settle my PPPoE server with a service name so that the clients would not connect to the undesired server.
Could you kindly send the files again?
