      Hello,
      pfSense newbie here.

I just built a pfSense device for home use.
      Below is the hardware info:

A1SRI-2558F board, 4GB Kingston RAM, Antec ISK 110 VESA Case with PSU and Kingston SSD V100.

When I turned on the system, I see a blinking green led. The manual doesn't have enough information about this.
I can log into the system and set up everything.

I Googled this, where someone mentioned that it is the IPMI hearbeat, but I would like to have a confirmation on this.

Having said that - I would happy to run and post any benchmarks on this build.

      Thank you.

Which LED is blinking and where, please? Would you please come closer to this point.

It might be more so that the IPMI port was not configured in the BIOS, or?
In some cases the IPMI port is configured as the or a WAN fall back port, could this also matching
        to your configuration?

Take a look at hte manual and search for LED2.

If that's LED you're talking about then yes, that's the BMC heartbeat.  The BMC is a component of IPMI.

My 2758f has the same heartbeat.

Do you use ECC ram modules?

              pfsense 2.3.4 on Supermicro A1SRi-2758F + 8GB ECC + SSD

              Happy PfSense user :)
