Asrock Mobo with Intel dual nic card? Will it work?
-
Hi,
I have this mobo sitting idle:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/h77m/It has an Intel I5 processor & 8gb of ram.
I bought this nic card:
http://www.amazon.com/Intel-1000-Dual-Server-Adapter/dp/B000BMXME8I am not sure if this will fit on my mobo (doesnt look like it). Before I fry the board & have a paperweight, will that work?
Thanks,
Rich -
Yes, you can "fit" a PCI-E x4 card in to a PCI-E x16 slot without any "hassle"
