@stephenw10 This is my final note since it seem you will always look at this as an endpoint. It doesn't appear, it actually is, the facts are the facts. Still, moderator usually have a way to remove posts and ban single users, not just the entire herd, or at least the ones use. Perhaps those are more advance, or perhaps netgate forums lack that functionality. I never said negate took this issue lightly, I was just looking for some feedback. I have seen this process many times and for the looks of it, pfsense CE is very much in maintenance mode. Just because netgate wants to be politically correct does not mean it is not. The fact are there and they are fallowing the same path as others did. Again, this subject is just becoming redundant and it is affecting other users in the forum.

@sef1414 Name it "run.sh", copy to pf and chmod according documentation https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/development/boot-commands.html#shell-script-option You will see messages in the system log like those quoted in the script after logger command.

@kiokoman That was the first 'DOS' with support for those whopping big drive **, later to be known as a hard drive .... Folders or subdirectories also dates from that moment. The DOS that makes the computer boot without a floppy. That was yaw dropping technology. edit : ** something close to 20 mega bytes, but there were always bad sector right from the beginning. remember : the 3.5 inch 1,44 Mbytes floppies didn't exist back then. 5.25 floppies were single sided (?) - or something like 180 Kbytes. I do recall also : debug and then g c800:0 to do an initial low level C drive format. and I just found out that we don't have 'debug' any more .... ;)

@stephenw10 I don't think we need it now to be honest - we keep a pretty good handle on the spam.. But is there a way to force 1 post wonders first posts to be mod/admin allowed? I have seen forums like this before. Where your first post has to be approved before its posted.

@nocling said in pfSense CA Root and IOS 14.4: l no longer trust SSL/TLS certificates with validity periods longer than 398 days. Check your pfsense Web Server certificate I think you hit the nail on the head. my certificates are set to expire years from now, so this could very well be the issue. I was completely unaware of this certificate limit on the Apple. Thank you for bring it to my attention, I am going to reissue a certificate and test it out. Cheers, Mark.

@pirotor It's possible. Install the pfSense Cron package. Add your 'wol' command and the moment you want to execute it. Done.

SFP+ are supported by ix drivers too, they work fine also. My only issue for such an overkill board is having to add an intel x710 card to add some multigig ports to connect 2.5gbps to my modem.

Yes, the 5100 should run CE no problems. You should reinstall to do that but you can import your config from Factory. Steve

@stephenw10 I now have two nanoHD's doing nothing. I noticed that there is an OpenWRT package for those. Looks very recent and maybe beta. Not sure, didn't spend a lot of time digging. Anyone have any knowledge about the nanoHD and OpenWRT? With the Unifi FW the performance was terrible under load, so maybe not even worth the effort? Thanks!
