It is mostly working ok, just the odd vtnet network dummynet problem which is on redmine, everything else I can observe is functioning correctly.

@maverick_slo for me dhcp6c not running was caused by a change in rtsold and I was able to get it working. see https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/10965

Same here, looks like it broke sometime in the last 2 weeks:

@jimp I figured it was the filterlog process.

    root 45091 0.0 0.1 12104 2976 - Ss 15:18 0:00.13 /usr/local/sbin/filterlog -i pflog0 -p /var/run/filterlog.pid

It must be something specific to my config. I have done several fresh re-installs albeit importing my existing config.xml. If you have any other thoughts on troubleshooting things please let me know.

tcpdump -n -e -ttt -i pflog0 inbound and action block and on em0

Shows things being properly blocked so I am not as concerned but still puzzled.

    The problem is resolv :

    [2.5.0-DEVELOPMENT][admin@pf.locallab]/root: route del default
route: route has not been found
del net default fib 0: not in table
    [2.5.0-DEVELOPMENT][admin@pf.locallab]/root: route add -net 62.210.0.1/32 -iface em0
    add net 62.210.0.1: gateway em0
    [2.5.0-DEVELOPMENT][admin@pf.locallab]/root: route add default 62.210.0.1
    add net default: gateway 62.210.0.1

to summarize the "Use non-local gateway through interface specific route" function no longer works

    Thanx!

I checked pfSense is on 12.2 now. I think Jim should have communicated that.

Not for every one relevant, but for me and others that is important to know.

    @rcfa said in Browser page?:

Will your suggestion work over an IPsec link?

    Sure...

The whole IT world is remotely administered somehow, if you are worried use OpenVPN with a higher cipher.
Currently, I consider it one of the best methods for remote management, except where that there are with completely separate mng. subnet, the latter is not typical in SOHO.

Or where, in which device you can do separate the mng. option for a separate VLAN and access this mng. VLAN with OpenVPN.

    Thanks!

OK, set that in System > Advanced > Tunables to the increased value.

Hope that does the trick. I will only know once I can get ahold of people on-site.

    Hmm.

Well at least that's the same as what I found above so there's not something odd with your system specifically.

It would be interesting to know what that file was on a snapshot before you started seeing this.

Let us know if that changes.

@vesalius as of this last Monday's snapshot my test box still showed 12.1 release.

I have not updated snapshots until today and see the change now. So in the last 3 days or so.
