That looks fine, I'd expect it to work.

How exactly are you testing from a LAN side client? How is it failing?

Sorry to disappear. I was slammed yesterday. So couple things.

            1. What IP address is your PC being assigned?
            2. Can you confirm that the assigned DNS server is your pfSense LAN interface (192.168.2.1)?

If you are using Windows, type ipconfig /all in a command prompt window.

            1. Everything else seems normal to me. Can you give us a screenshot of your DNS Resolver settings as well?

@gabacho4 192.168.2.32 is the ip that i have on my pc.

Maybe my isp modem is the problem? is just a simple fiber modem.

@stephenw10 my modem has a single wan port and is connected directly to my pfsense router. The LAN port of my pfsense router is connected to a switch, and provides connection to all my devices. But no internet access.

maybe my isp is blocking something?

@estebansabo what is the dns server that your computer is using? It should be displayed using the command I gave you.

Saw a post from him earlier on the opnsense forum.
He's having the same trouble with it.

Probably a DNS issue. The error the client is showing is probably saying exactly that....
