pfsense Affiliate does not update

I have a Pfsense connected via ipsec, O PFsense does not find the updates.
Affiliate Internet needs to go out through the parent firewall

What 'updates' are you referring to? And what is an 'affiliate Internet'?? Btw there is a dedicated IPSec forum for these types of questions.

I'm sorry but this is hilarious. I have no idea what it means though.
If you need to upgrade, then you can either do it via the dashboard or by taking a config.xml backup, installing 2.4.4 fresh, then restore your backup.

If the unit has Internet access, it should find its updates without any problem. Is your WAN directly connected to the Internet or is there another router or firewall upstream?

@KOM I'm inclined to accept, that he is talking about a cluster setup maybe and the device does not have direct internet but only via its cluster member/master or some other router so that it doesn't has active internet when not on duty?
