If you are having connection trouble with only 2 teams sessions that require you to resort to traffic shaping, then your ISP connection is horrible.

Might be better to get the problem fixed instead of trying to work around it

@heper well teams was the initial issue but i noticed other random network problems like during gaming. the bufferbloat is insane but ill have to test that out tomorrow again.

somehow i doubt its the ISP since my download speed are fine, when i run dsl reports speed test i get latency notifications on the dashboard

also on a side note they just fixed some piece of equipment due to issues.
replaced the whole coax to some monstrous cable

@tryk It sounds like you're not using shaping yet but if you do I posted here that having the VoIP queue set too small seems to drastically affect call quality.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

@steveits i did setup traffic shaping using Codel .
            Its on my initial post.

I started having bad bufferbloat months ago and adjusted that and am using a floating rule.
now the bufferbloat started back up presumably after upgrading from 500 to gig speeds.

I have been known to read over things but I don't see "shaping" or "codel" in the post, just "limiters"...? At any rate, glad you got it sorted out. When in doubt restart. :)

So it seems that even with limiters.
when i go on VPN on another machine bufferbloat goes up to D rating

when my wife also goes on vpn thats when we hit the 2000's for bufferbloat.

                    this is really annoying.

So vpn inside another vpn? Yeah not very useful if what your after is performance ;)

If your adamant about wanting to use vpn on your network - prob good idea to policy route at least her connection to not use your default vpn.. When she is connecting to hers

@johnpoz its ok i wrote it kinda wonky .

so im at the point where i have no clue whats going on.
After the last 2 reboots now my thermal sensors dont populate at all and sits on updating.

I feel like maybe this box needs a full rebuild.

Just odd that when i have 2 seperate vpns running i then get crazy bufferbloat and the network turns sluggish. turn 1 vpn off then its better .

I don't have a source, sorry, but I'm pretty sure I've seen other posts about that and I want to say there is a fix that can be applied. Alternately 2.5.1 should be out shortly (days to weeks, sounds like).
