      Hello

      Go to System -> Advanced -> Firewall / NAT Settings.

      Firewall Optimization Options, is used as standard. Everything works fine, but I would like to understand the following things (diagnostics -> pfinfo -> Search for udp.first)

      what does it mean?
      udp.first? 60 seconds
      udp.single? 30 seconds
      udp.multiple? 60 seconds

      They have different timeouts. 60/30/60
      i know what a udp session timer or timeout is. but i never hear about those different names

      I read this:
      https://www.netgate.com/docs/pfsense/config/advanced-setup.html?highlight=udp%20single
      But does not help.

      Thx in advanced
      Kind regards
      kinch

        @kinch said in Definition of terms:::: udp.single / udp.first / udp.multiple:

        These values are from the pf firewall, which is part of FreeBSD and the reason for the name pfSense.

        Read up more on pf and those values here:

        https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=pf.conf&sektion=5
