      Is it possible with windows authentication to have a user that can only login for a specific amount of time.
      I know that i can set the login hours but is there a way to limit the amount of time that the user can login so say…
      User logs can login for an hour
      -> user Auth Successful
      -> User log in for 30 mins
      -> User Disconnects
      -> User successfully logs in for another 30 minutes
      -> User Disconnects
      -> User tries to get in again... Error!

        I haven't looked in depth into this one but know it's working with pfSense as I have been testing radius-issues with it in the past: ftp://ftp.multitech.com/mts-software/rasexpress/radius201.exe
        This one should support timebased logins/rejects (from what I've seen). It's free and runs as Service under Windows. If you find out anything share it with us  ;)

            What are the RADIUS Attributes that are supported by Pfsense?

                We basically have m0n0wall's 1.2 version of Captive Portal.  So whatever it supports.

                Perhaps searching the m0n0wall archives will help with this.

                  Hello All,

                  Im a little new to Radius however i want to setup captive portal with radius authentication for some wireless users.. with radius running on a seperate machine with usernames and passwords stored preferably in a database.  On the other machine what kinda setup will i need to have interms of applications.

                  i was thinking of using freeradius on the remote box. What else am i going to need… other than say.. a Mysql database.  ???

                  Any help will be greatly appreciated. ;D

                  Take a look at http://www.pfsense.com/mirror.php?section=tutorials/cp_config/radius_win2k3.htm

                      Ahh, thanks for the heads up.  I browsed to http://pfsense.er33t.net/tutorials/cp_config/ and I will download the .sfw manually so I can track the download progress.  I couldn't imagine why a html file took so long to d/led!
