I’m trying to set up pfsense.
this is my first touched pfsense.

    I have a Qnap model TVS-471.
I heard pfsense can run on Qnap and trying to replace the router with pfsense.

    this is my network

The problem I am having is PC connected to GS108Tv2 cannot connect to the Internet.
I have googled but I can’t find any solution.

    Is it possible?

What would be the best way to do this?

I don't have much knowledge about networks.
Do I need to configure spanning tree?
Do I need to change the connection method?

    VLAN is not configured.

    Any help will be appreciated.

Since you have a loop, you need to use spanning tree.

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.

      I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

Thank you for your quick reply.

I understand that there is a loop in the network.
        STP was set as follows.
        1.bridge0 on pfsense LAN1 (vtnet1)
        2. All ports of GS108
        3.TVS-471 port2

Even if port 2 of TVS-471 is connected to port 1 of GS108, Internet connection is not possible from ports 3 and 4 of TVS-471 connected to ports 7 and 8 of GS108.
I understand that GS108 will be the end switch, so I set Bridge Priority to 32768.

Is there a way to build a better network?
        I want more support.
        Thank you.

          My problem has been solved.
Communication is now possible by setting STP.
First, I set up a pfsense bridge and a GS108 RSTP.
Furthermore, communication is now possible by turning off the STP of the virtual switch on the TVS-471.

          Thank you

How do you have this all physically connected? If you have a loop and preventing issues with STP does not really sound like an optimal solution..

Why would you not isolate your L2 networks via vlans on your switch? Where you wan is different L2 than your Lan..
