      I'm running pfsense 2.4.4-RELEASE-p3 (amd64)

      Package manager showed an update for squidGuard to 1.16.18_3

      After updating, squidGuard GUI is now missing. Any suggestions to get it back?

        Uninstall the package and install it again.

          After uninstalling the re-install process hangs and never completes, stuck at
          Executing custom_php_install_command()...

            Is there an error showing anywhere else? In the system log? On the dashboard? In a notice?

              Nothing shows up on the GUI. From the CLI I have a bunch of processes running
              (squidGuard) -c /usr/local/etc/squidGuard/squidGuard.conf (squidGuard)

                From SSH or the console, in a shell, try installing it manually to see if it produces any different errors:

                pkg install -fy pfSense-pkg-squidGuard

                  I deleted everything, did a hard reboot, then re-installed from the CLI and it worked this time, thanks.
