I just tried to update my Netgate MBT-2220. After which the system would no longer boot. It would stop with a mangled file in panic: I tried to reinstall pfsense using the Netgate USB card that came with the device. It ended with checksum errors. Now is says there is no /root folder I can't get it to do anything. Is there anyway to completely wipe this thing and start from scratch?

I get the same missing boot folder in every clean VM I have tried....

2.4.4p3 works fine. Then upgrade and install packages.

In my case after about 20 mins, the CPU goes through the roof and the VM dies.

        2.4.4p3 is stable

I can't even get 2.4.4 to install now. and it is the USB that came with the device.
