Filtering traffic using web proxy on opnsense

Hi guys,
I have a bit of a problem with web filtering. I have an opnsense setup with a layer 3 switch where inter vlan routing is happening. The opnsense is connected to the layer 3 switch through a point to point connection..I have setup web filtering on the opnsense but it blocks all traffic ..Im able to ping 8.8.8.8 from the command promt and also ping google.com meaning resolution is working fine but not able to open web pages..
Kindly assist on how to resolve the issue.
