      Hello Everybody,

I'm a beginner with pfsense, I would like to have some helps with the VLANS and pfsense...

      My host is : unraid
      My Machines are virtual.

I have different networks port as you can see below:

      • 10.0.2.0/24 on : 52:54:CE:52:00:00 VLAN: 52
      • 10.0.3.0/24 on : 52:54:CE:53:00:00 VLAN: 53

      alt text

      The vtnet1 and vtnet3 are linked to two sub-interfaces : br.052 and br.053
On each network I have a DHCP Server.

If I don't setup any rules into the FW for the interfaces, they can't communicate.
If I create a rule for allowing communication between them : they can ping each other.

I would like to know if my setup is good.. Because I don't know how to test the vlan setup.
The only test I did is the following :

On Network 10.0.2.0/24 : Disabled DHCP server, try to get a new IP with a virtual machine, monitor using Wireshark if I get any DHCPDiscover into the 10.0.3.0/24 network : Nothing.

      Thank you in advance,

      MickaMickaTchu
