Can't Unblock A User

A long, long time ago, I blocked someone who has since become a moderator. I forgot about it literally years ago. It helped that I never saw anything they said in these forums.
Today, I discovered that I still have them blocked. My latest post got a response that I couldn't read when logged in. It was from someone I had blocked. It was a good response, but I can't reply to it or see the attachments when I'm logged in. Apparently, they can see and respond to my posts, probably because their account is a moderator now.
So I tried to unblock them, but when I click on their account to unblock them, I get a Gateway 500 timeout at forums.netgate.com.
This probably isn't something I can fix.

@eveningstarnm so you had blocked me ;) hahah..
I see you blocked me - but I don't see a way for me to edit it.. @stephenw10 or @Derelict might be able to help as admins.

@eveningstarnm I am not seeing any issues with blocking and unblocking users.. I just blocked you for example, and then easy enough to unblock.
Its possible since the block is really really old, and there was a change in forum software.. Next time I chat with Steve I will make sure he checks this thread out.

I'm wondering if the network this forum is on is having problems. Several time when I tried to login yesterday (Friday), I was getting "Gateway 500" errors. I didn't bother to report it, just assumed that Netgate was updating the forum. -
@jdeloach I'm getting that error only when my browser tries to access the account of the user that I can't unblock. For instance, when I try to access this page, there's a long delay before the page finishes loading because that user's profile is called on this page in my account's context. If you aren't having the same problem, that does sound like a network issue.

So just to confirm you're unable to open this page in order to unblock?

@stephenw10 I wonder if has to do with you are not suppose to be able to block mods or admins.
When I try and edit his profile - I see my account listed as block, and when I search to try and toggle it.. I get this error about mods and admins can not be blocked
I wonder if you unmod me, then you edit his profile to toggle me unblocked if that would fix him up. And then of course mod me again ;)

@eveningstarnm Steve tried my little trick, and seems to have worked. I do not show as blocked in your account any more.

It doesn't work that way.. If you block someone you don't see their stuff, but that doesn't stop them from seeing your stuff. Unless they had also blocked you.
