Hello fellow Netgate community members can you help?
I am somewhat new to using webcache based systems inside of Squid, I have finally got my Windows dynamic refresh patterns to work recently for the first time I watched as the Microsoft store updated via the cache last week.
Is there a way to use any professional based webcache to help with the facilitation of hit rates on your pfSense Squid based cache?
If I open up ICP ports and set up a remote cache address and or IP can this be done?
Can a system preload items most used for you, websites, updates, etc?
This is not just a local cache this adds a hosted version. A hybrid of Professional services like ISP based cache and your home local cache.
If the official Netgate system comes with encryption hardware can this be utilized in an approved fashion with a remote cache?
Is there anyway to add in a Microsoft hosted and approved cache , and or Googles web cache etc?
