Public IP Address doesn't change when connected to ovpn

    When I connect to my pfsense ovpn server... my public ip address stays the same...(this is also on a private browser session when checking...it's not cached) normally on other openvpn servers or any vpn server I've used my public ip would be the same as the location I'm connecting to. Anyone else have this issue and what did you do to correct. Thanks

      Routing the upstream traffic over the VPN is not a default behavior, if you running a VPN server in your network. Usually you want only have access to the local network.

      But you can enable this by checking "Redirect gateway" in the server settings.
      But you might also have to add an outbound NAT rule to WAN for the OpenVPN tunnel network if pfSense didn't it automatically.

        @viragomann That's exactly what I needed.... I made the change and tested...my public ip address matches my home address Thank you soo much!!!
