@stephenw10 The ENF656-ESW-NDPR V1.1 will be ok?
-
That looks like a 56K modem, so almost certainly not what you want and it probably not supported anyway.
-
@stephenw10 RTL8139D(L)?
-
@stephenw10 I have a very old computer for this, can I put a link for a store from my country for best help? I don't know if put a link of an online store is accepted here, so I ask just in case.
-
That will probably work but it's still an old NIC that isn't really that great.
Use Intel based NICs if you possibly can.
-
@stephenw10 Only find intel ether Express Pro100 Smart adaptor for a reasonable price.
-
Well that probably would work but it's also an old 100M NIC.
-
@stephenw10 thanks, but I have only 50 mb of internet, so I suppose is ok, not?
-
Probably be fine then.
-
@stephenw10 Also found bic2se Model 315-0610020esa, but I don't find any documentation for that card.
-
Yeah, I have no idea if that would work. And it's SFP so added complexity. And possibly fibre channel only which wouldn't work.
-
@stephenw10 the NC3121?
-
Looks like an Intel NIC so I'd expect it to work. I've never tested it myself though.
-
@stephenw10 Hi again! The networks adapters are the real problem (1 from the motherboard and other pci) that don't let me update to 2.7? I ask this because I want to be sure to changing the nics all will be work fine.
Thanks.
All the best.
-
Well the crash you posted is in the dc driver so if you remove that NIC it can't happen.
You only need one NIC to test it though so try installing 2.7 with only the on-board nfe NIC.
-
@stephenw10 Hi! I replace the dc0 for an intel nic and can upgrade to 2.7 successful. Thanks a lot!
All the best. -
Nice, good result.
