What is this hardware? The boot log shows 32 phys. Is that real?

It's also using a dc(4) NIC which is ancient and that appears to be where the crash was:

Did it actually complete the install in either 2.6 or 2.7?

I would try replacing or removing the dc NIC if you can.

It sees 32 Realtek PHYs on that nfe MAC. I've never seen anything like that and it's hard to imagine it's accurate. I assume this does not have 32 Ethernet ports?

Ok, then both those NICs appear to be buggy but the dc(4) driver is known to have issues so I'd replace that first.

That looks like a 56K modem, so almost certainly not what you want and it probably not supported anyway.

@stephenw10 I have a very old computer for this, can I put a link for a store from my country for best help? I don't know if put a link of an online store is accepted here, so I ask just in case.

That will probably work but it's still an old NIC that isn't really that great.

Use Intel based NICs if you possibly can.

Well that probably would work but it's also an old 100M NIC.

Yeah, I have no idea if that would work. And it's SFP so added complexity. And possibly fibre channel only which wouldn't work.

Looks like an Intel NIC so I'd expect it to work. I've never tested it myself though.

@stephenw10 Hi again! The networks adapters are the real problem (1 from the motherboard and other pci) that don't let me update to 2.7? I ask this because I want to be sure to changing the nics all will be work fine.

                                          Thanks.

                                          All the best.

Well the crash you posted is in the dc driver so if you remove that NIC it can't happen.

You only need one NIC to test it though so try installing 2.7 with only the on-board nfe NIC.
