    Hi All,

I am using a bunch of pfsense+ boxes (NG-6100 & NG-1100) on an internal network.
An unused network port is dedicated to access to the management web interface.
Security is not relevant there and therefore I use HTTP instead of HTTPS to overcome the repeated question (using a bunch of boxes) about the unsigned keys of the pfsense box.

    (1) When setting up wireguard one needs to generate a private key then copy it to all connected peers on the VPN->Wireguard->Tunnels->Edit page. The copying can be done using the copy action on this page. It works fine

    (2) To improve security and be post quantum safe a pre-shared (symmetric) key has to be generated then copied to the other peer for each peer-peer connection. The copying HAS to be done using the copy action on this page. The copy action however has no effect, the contents of the clipboard (win-10, firefox both latest) remain unchanged.

I found that in the past there was a bug () reported (and fixed) which probably was related to (1). The bug was that specific for HTTP (as opposed to HTTPS) the copy action had no effect, exactly my situation. I would not be surprised if the bug was not fixed for the copy button of the pre-shared wireguard key.

    Can anyone confirm?

    • If not, can you point me to a solution?
    • If so, is this topic sufficient to pick up this bug?

    Kind regards,
    Peter

@pvswie Try copying it in HTTPS mode.
