      Hey everyone,

      New problem with the Netgate 4100 device.

      After a power failure of a local circuit were my Netgate and some other IOT devices are located, my 4100 stopped working.
      The only thing I can see is a constant orange light, and no console output when I boot the device.
      Were last time troubleshooting the eMMc (see older posts) failure the console output gave me something...
      Is it just me or does the discontinuing of the Netgate 4100 has something more to it??
      Not sure how to feel about my first purchase of this appliance to be honest, usually electrical devices offer a 3year factory warranty.

      Friendly regards,

        Open a ticket with us if you haven't already.

        You won't see anything on the console if the power LED remains orange. That implies it's still in standby power state. There is no change when you press the power button?

          @stephenw10

          I opened a ticked and followed the instructions.

          Remove power from the unit, press the power button for a couple of seconds (15sec) but still nothing I'm afraid.

            Is this out of warranty?

            If so you could try removing the CMOS battery.

              @stephenw10

              I tried removing the CMOS battery, and the SSD and I tried plugging in USB with Pfsense Image but still no change

              And I when I contacted the retailer in December 2023 when my eMMc crashed he told me that I had lost my warranty shy of 3months.

              Its so strange that the factory warranty is only 1year, that little details got lost on me before I purchased the device.
