    There are numerous inquiry on how to block certain web sites like facebook, etc and many solutions.  For me, I needed central place where I could make the change and have it apply to ANY firewalls I  manage immediately. Here's a quick and effective solution - IP Blocklist package.

      That function is actually built into pfSense, no package needed.

      Firewall > Aliases, add new alias, type = URL Table.

      The difference is the format, for URL tables the format is just the IPs in either IP or CIDR format, the ones you show have a name and IP ranges (which don't work for URL tables)

        1.2.3 does not have this hence I posted it.  With IPSEC VPN issues, we are still standard on 1.23 vs 2.0.x.
