@sef1414 Name it "run.sh", copy to pf and chmod according documentation https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/development/boot-commands.html#shell-script-option You will see messages in the system log like those quoted in the script after logger command.

Well, I meant noise @ the upstream bug tracker, LOL. That's really not pfSense-specific issue. Bug 199197 has pretty good info about what's going on, but noone cares.

@webtyro: Just curious but, is there any data missing from those dates. Any sign of purge being done regarding your site. Anything that should be there but is not or can you tell from your end. My site looks to be at the same level of indexing as it normally is roughly, looking at the google webmaster tools, that shows googles indexing status of your sites, and how their crawlers are doing on it. Using my tool, the google crawlers are indexing my site almost 24 hours a day.  I also coded in a auto-login cookie generator for the google bots IP CIDR's and Useragents so the site auto-loggins the crawlers to a limited account i made for them.  This helps me track the time they are actually spending on the site as well.

@W4RH34D: Who is the jackass and who are the jackasses that approved the plastic 8p8c jack?  It is absolute garbage almost like it was designed to piss someone off. /rant I held the same sentiments to the people who designed my old hyundai sonata, it ran great forever, but then the AC went out, and that was ok for a while, but then the alternator went out too. Decided to replace them, and discovered to my dismay, that they are both mounted down by the crankshaft, under the motor.  the manual says to lift the motor on a engine lift, disconnect the motor mounts, and lift the engine just enough that the AC and Alternator can be accessed through a small openning in the passenger side wheel well, after removing the passenger side wheel. WTF, makes me want to slap an engineer in the back of the head hard enough to make his eyes pop out.

It is your single-best source for information on pfSense. It is being constantly updated in general.

It's Teredo tunneling. Don't panic, just disable that in the network settings on the Hyper-V server. For example: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc770710(v=ws.10).aspx

Opinions mine. People are trying to do what used to take a room full of PhDs and grad students to accomplish. This stuff is complicated. These days everyone wants to policy route this traffic and that out a VPN or two on a set schedule while containing DNS leaks with pretty much no knowledge of simple things like you can't have the same subnet on two interfaces. Then when you tell them that can't be done they argue "but it worked on product X." They want a turnkey product but don't want to renumber. That and they have to have IPsec working to their workplace and the IT department there is of less-than-zero assistance. Sort of akin to rebuilding an automobile transmission - but the same people who would never attempt that because they don't have the knowledge, experience, or tools, somehow think that building a complicated IP network that functions well is somehow within the grasp of anyone and everyone. I do not understand that phenomena. They won't even pay $25 for the book. It's pretty ludicrous.

Well it took them a couple days but they got it fixed. It was indeed a change they made. They pushed a firmware update to the modem and it bricked the settings (in their router) for my connection. My connection is wireless as I'm in a rural area on the way to nowhere. I'll likely never have any other option unless I move.
