    @Nullity:

    In my opinion, most people do actually have a karma rating that reflects their actual conduct on this forum.

    It's not the "most people" that is the issue though.  It's the few who have ratings that are quite skewed from their behavior.  Forum readers who have been around for a while get a feel for who they are.  But it can be quite misleading to new forum readers/members/participants.

    Put a new "feature" type issue into https://redmine.pfsense.org/projects/pfsense/issues with details of the exact places you would like to see enhanced searches.

    And while you are at it, do a regex search on the title of this topic, looking for mis-matched brackets :)

    That would be a limit from SMF. Whenever we update SMF it should pick that sort of thing up.

    The problem with that is many switches are different and there wouldn't be any way to cover more than a couple different kinds. Maybe once we have our own product with a built-in switch we could do it.

    The pfSense part is simple, just add the tags. Interface configuration has been covered in previous hangouts like the one on creating a DMZ.

    So if we were to do this now, it would mostly be theoretical and generic info and not really about pfSense. Which we could do, but it doesn't feel like a topic that's a good fit for a pfSense-specific hangout. Maybe if we run completely out of other hangout topics ;-)

    I had a look at various bits of this:

    https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/pull/3400 Addresses issues for users with only a few page privs plus help, accessing the help that is linked to those pages.

    https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/pull/3402 Add a priv for Services->UPNP

    https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/pull/3401 Issues when the help priv is the first priv in a user's priv list

    https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/pull/3399 Add a priv to control display of the Gold menu

    https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/pull/3403 Do not show empty menus

    A few have already been committed, and the others are under review, discussion, test.

    On the avatar note: anyone noticed gravatar is very much broken lately? Very visible in Redmine, takes ages for the page to load, and eventually it doesn't work.

    This isn't really the place to post this.  The Feedback forum is for questions about the forum itself.  This section is for English posts, not Portuguese.  The Portuguese forum is here.  If you speak English, the best place for this post would be the General Discussion forum, where people talk about things not necessarily related to pfSense.

    Este não é realmente o lugar para postar isso. O fórum de feedback é para perguntas sobre o próprio fórum. Esta seção é para postagens em inglês, não em português. O fórum português está aqui. Se você fala inglês, o melhor lugar para este post seria o fórum de discussão geral, onde as pessoas falam sobre coisas não necessariamente relacionadas ao pfSense.

    ndpi is part of ntopng package. You can turn it on under Preferences > On-Disk Timeseries.

    +1, for the original idea…

    ... And how about a 'Group' description, and the ability to sort the list of leases, IP/Mac/Name/Group etc.

    Many thanks

    This has been working extremely well for me and I kept notes about how to do it.  Not a complete step by step but available to anyone who asks.

    dok not a fan of locking a topic.. For starters just because the OP think they "solved" their issue doesn't always mean it was, or the info given that they think is the solution was the correct info or the actual solution to whatever their issue was.

    If they want to mark it as such and make comment to what they think the solution is that is great, but should be left open for atleast some time to allow for corrections or and or updates to the info in the thread, etc.

    Locking threads after X amount of time, sure all for that - keeps people from adding to threads that are years old, etc.
