ndpi is part of ntopng package. You can turn it on under Preferences > On-Disk Timeseries.

dok not a fan of locking a topic.. For starters just because the OP think they "solved" their issue doesn't always mean it was, or the info given that they think is the solution was the correct info or the actual solution to whatever their issue was.

If they want to mark it as such and make comment to what they think the solution is that is great, but should be left open for atleast some time to allow for corrections or and or updates to the info in the thread, etc.

Locking threads after X amount of time, sure all for that - keeps people from adding to threads that are years old, etc.

Sorry to hear you're having problems but this is neither the topic nor the forum for you to discuss your issue.  The Virtualization installations and techniques forum is a better place for you to post your issue as a new topic if your problem is specific to Virtualbox, or the General Questions forum otherwise.

That's a bit dumb if it logs you out regardless, I would have hoped that the logout timer would be after that period of inactivity.

Performing HA or failover at layer 2 creates a layer 2 loop. You have to rely on STP or similar protocols to stop the loop and then switch the ports if the preferred path fails.

It's a mess, an accident waiting to happen, and difficult to get right because a lot of it depends on your switches and not the firewall at all.

You can certainly try it if you like, but it's not something we like to encourage. :-)

Your original post did not mention packages at all, but doing that would be highly impractical.

You can "pkg fetch" the packages you want on a box that is connected and then copy them to the other unit directly. Then pkg add from the local file. So long as you have all the dependencies, you don't need connectivity.
