Either will work.  Format the floppy or usb keychain as msdos. However, I really don't suggest using a floppy.  But if you insist atleast backup the configuration often, beacuse when that floppy finally dies, you will happy you did  :D

Hopefully this problem is now solved.  We upgraded to 1.1 SMF.

capping a person's speed can be done in other ways as well, where I am we have throttled the switch ports to 6% on a 100meg link which makes everything usable but prevents them from downloading at multi-meg speeds
