We have customers that want this info and we poll it externally via snmp and do the reporting on another machine. It doesn't get us per-IP usage but they're just interested in total traffic throughput.

Just change the LAN ip via ssh menu and after that restart the web configurator using the same menu (11)…

Thanks for checking. I actually got things to start updating after I forcing myself to be patient. It does take over 5-10 minutes to display values. It looks like my qVOIPup is not getting any traffic (it's all going into the ACK), but that's another problem. Thanks again, Stephen

I managed to get the access back by running the 11) Restart WebConfigurator in the console setup menu (After i Set the LAN IP address first of course)

It 'was my mistake, as you can see in the screenshot below I just uninstalled squid proxy server but the entry related to Proxy Server is still present and active. If you click on here is the error message: [image: proxyef.th.jpg] [image: errords.th.jpg] After I updated the page, the entry and the error disappeared.

This has been added to 2.0.

Thanks again! I got it now.. I move the items that start with <menu>also i was able to change what section they are in my changing the field after I only have a couple i want to move around so it shouldn't be a big deal. Change them in the file then reboot the system </menu>

hi all, i've changed the hard disks, reconfigured raid 1 and did a new full install. restored settings with backup-xml and everything is working again. i hope that it will last for a long time now and that there will be no further problems…! thank you for your support!

I was able to solve this issue. I found it wasn't working after I uninstalled BandwidthD, and when I reloaded the settings it reinstalled the package and uninstalled it. I figured this out, resaved my settings without the packages, reloaded 1.2.2, then reloaded my settings and they work again. I also disabled the trafficshapper after I got it working, which isn't a big deal as I don't use it anymore anyway.

We're primarily a Microsoft shop, so that is why we wanted to find a way to get the key ready in Windows. Copy/Paste from the documentation on our installation: Download and install the windows version of Open SSL from  http://www.slproweb.com/download/Win32OpenSSL_Light-0_9_8k.exe Open command prompt go to C:\OpenSSL\bin and execute the command below after updating the relevant information to meet the needs of your certificate which will create two files, host.domain.com.key and host.domain.com.csr. openssl req -new -newkey rsa:2048 -nodes -out host_domain_com.csr -keyout host_domain_com.key -subj "/C=US/ST=State Name/L=City Name/O=Company Name/OU=Department Name/CN=host.domain.com" Send the host.domain.com.csr file from step 2 to your certification authority who will send you the certificate file. Copy and paste the certificate information sent by your certificate authority and the host.domain.com.key (private key) file information from step 2 into your captive portal ssl configuration page. Also, this should probably be in the captive portal section, not the WebGUI.
