    Hello,

I am just wandering if I can install 3rd party programs on pfsense. I am wanting to install nagios. Someone let me know if I can just get to console and install.

    Thanks!

well i´d have to say dont go that way, if you want that sort of functionality on a firewall(never a good idea) go with say clarkconnect or some similar distro

You should really install it (nagios and what not) on a dedicated box

You can install about everything you could on a normal FreeBSD install.
If you want to know how you should install a normal FreeBSD.

        Also: THIS IS NOT SUPPORTED.

As fredde said: You should run as few services as possible on a firewall.

We do what we must, because we can.
