My small domain was failing before an unknown person volunteered to help.   I did the original DNS setup myself in 2001; this new friend configured a new DNS and added pfSense.  I have 5 (five) IP's from Qwest.  For unknown reasons, only two are pingable.  I have determined that if I have a pingable IP on my MX, mail is stopped.  Does anybody on-forum know why?  Also, because I am (almost) sure that pfSense is blocking three IP's, how do I get them going again?  I will need at least one working IP soon to run a separate .com domain.

Is there a way of resetting pfSense as-is to get the three non-pingable IP's working and not mess up the rest of the way that pfSense works now?

    thanks for any insights,

You may want to review this thread which is discussing a similar setup.

Thanks much.  Slowly–maybe too slowly!--I'm picking up this new app.  FWIW, it turns out (according to my pal) that I have to have active the IP's that I want to use.  ...Still scratching my head, but understand a bit more.
