Tunnel OPT1 Interface randomly stops
-
Hey Guys,
This is only a minor problem (well…. is pretty major, but its only minor for me) but I have my tunnel setup via HE.NET as per the guide I found on the forums, and it works really well...
However I have noticed a problem or two with running it on a longer-term basis.
eg. Randomly at any point all IPv6 connections will stop working, at first I thought it was due to the router not advertising to the DHCP server, however this is not the case.
rtadvd is still running (because I manually start it, due to not running DHCPv6 on the pfsense machine) and always works, it seams that the OPT1 connection holding the routing table for the tunnel, randomly dies.
By disabling the interface and enabling it again, resolves all problems and IPv6 connections work again instantly
So my question bears of, is there a way I can do this when the connection drops on a schedule type system, or is there a fix for this problem in the works? (I understand there may not be a solution since its alpha software, this post is more of a bug report that will hopefully get resolved, or to help other people that may be experiencing the same problem)

I think I may have fixed this over the weekend. Please sync up and test if the default route stays around now.

looks like my default route it gone and just did a sync.
