Problems with squid pfsense 1.2.3

    Hi there, i am using pfsense 1.2.3 working great as main gateway at my work. but today i have installed squid 2.7.9 pkg v.4.3.1, installed without problems, but when i do changes at cache management tab it doesnt save. just keep the default settings. :( any help?

      There were changes on squid package for pfsense 2.1 that broke some features on 1.2.3

      Consider upgrading to 2.0.1

        It could also be completely unrelated to that, and just how 1.2.3 would randomly sometimes stick an empty <config>tag and prevent settings from saving.

        2.0.x upgrade would fix it no matter which of those is to blame.</config>
