    So as of right now, this is how my network is laid out in text form…

    LAN(Me) -> EXSi(pfSense(PPPoE Pass-through)) -> DrayTek Vigor 130 -> INTERNET

    LAN = 192.168.1.0/24
    DrayTek = 192.168.2.1 (Factory Default settings)
    pfSense = 192.168.1.1
    EXSi = 192.168.1.2

    From LAN I cannot access DrayTek's configuration page without unplugging it from pfSense and going directly to Laptop -> DrayTek, does anyone know how to access the DreyTek that's behind the firewall?

    Please see my attempts to fix/resolve this;

    I'm still learning so please bear with me, and thank you for helping.

      I am also wondering how I can set this up. The how-to guide is very scarce on words and I had to revert pfsense configuration back, when I did something wrong and no longer had internet connection.
      The superuser link above says "Assign a new OPT interface on the same physical network card used on WAN"; the how-to says "A PPPoE WAN is actually assigned to a virtual PPPoE adapter, not the physical port. Under Interfaces > (assign), create a new OPT interface". I understand OPT stands for Optional and is used to describe interfaces other than LAN and WAN. But there a list of different kinds of interfaces. WHich one should I pick? PPPoE has mandatory username/password fields. Are those supposed to contain the modem username/password? It's just confusing as the instructions do not match up to the options available.

      My network is Internet->Modem (192.168.1.254)->pfsense (192.168.1.100 WAN; 192.168.2.1 LAN)->Wireless router (192.168.2.100)->My PC(192.168.2.30)

        @MrAmos123:

        LAN(Me) -> EXSi(pfSense(PPPoE Pass-through)) -> DrayTek Vigor 130 -> INTERNET

        LAN = 192.168.1.0/24

        pfSense = 192.168.1.1
        EXSi = 192.168.1.2

        pfSense (LAN IP) is 192.168.1.1 and LAN is 192.168.1.0/24 …... Ok.
        WAN is ? (On the WAN  interface, "Block private networks and loopback addresses" is not checked, right ?

        No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
        Edit : and where are the logs ??

                Create an OPT Interface on the same physical interface used for WAN, then go to interface setup and set ipv4 configuration type to Static IPV4. Give a IPV4 address (eg. 192.168.0.1/24 and no upstream gateway) to the interface. Change the name of the interface to something recognisable.
                For more look at the link which solved for the OP.

                  Thanks wkn. Which option do I select in order to "Create an OPT Interface on the same physical interface used for WAN"? Is it a new VLAN?

                    Go to Interfaces / Interface Assignment and add a new interwace. In the listbox of available interfaces choose the one which is also connected to your WAN (example: WAN -> PPPoE (re0) choose re0 direct). Save and then edit the new interface as described.
