Freeradius: Using own configuration
I recently started using the freeradius2-package of pfsense.
My problem is: I'm not too happy with the gui, I want to use my changes on eap.conf (for example). Like stronger algorithms, completly disabling EAP-TTLS/PEAP etc.
Of course I can log in via SSH, making my changes. Problem is: It'll only work for the moment as pfSense will overwrite my configuration after a reboot.
Is there a way to only use the configuration I made via SSH? Like disabling the GUI-parts for configuring freeradius?
If you don't like the GUI then stop installing it.
pkg remove pfSense-pkg-freeradius2; pkg install freeradius
Thanks for your advise, I didn't know, that was possible :-)
My next question is: How do I start radiusd in the background? I can perfectly start it with radiusd -X and my clients are able to login.
I would think the easy way would be to just install the shellcmd package ;)
Shellcmd 1.0.2_2 The shellcmd utility is used to manage commands on system startup.
