Can't access web server inside my LAN

Hello World!

So I have been using pfSense for a couple of years now, But I'm just now starting to get into the more advanced features. Recently I built a FreeNAS box running NextCloud. (NextCloud is a file sharing web app.) The NAS is on my LAN (10.0.1.1/24) but the web app jail, (Jail is similar to a VM. as far as networking is concerned) is on my DMZ (172.16.0.1/24). So I have my Rules set up where I can access my website outside my network with no issues. If I go to www.eaxamplecloud.com outside my network it works great. But if does not work if I try and access it from my LAN. I read that I needed to setup DNS Forwarder and that worked kinda…. I can access my site but if I try and upload a file larger than a MB or so the session times out. Any help would really be appreciated. Am I on the right track with DNS Forwarder or is there a better way. I would like to be able to access my web server without internet on my LAN if possible.

So DNS Forwarder did it, Kinda…! When I try and push (upload) a file to my web app over a few KB an error occurs. But I could download a TB and it works great! I know its not a issue with my server or app because I can upload when accessing it remotely. What would do this?

Yeah, It's not. When I try uploading the files it goes for a second, then the upload stops. A few seconds later. The page says "a error occured, reloading page now" and the page reloads. Also just noticed that while I can access the internet, When I run a SpeedTest my upload speed is 0. This only happens when I have DNS forwarder enabled… Weird

Well if it is a DNS problem, check your DNS. Can you reliably resolve names?

Making a host override for an inside host is not going to break speedtest.net.

The first DNS settings look to the firewall. The next is Google DNS and then VerSign. To my knowledge I have not had any other issues.
