    Hi,
this has probably been answered somewhere before but browsing this new forum is like throwing sand in my eyes. Can someone shoot me a link showing how to install sysstat on pfsense? I tried pkg search sysstat but it doesn't come up.

    I'm running 2.4.3-RELEASE-p1
Thanks and sorry for the hand holding.

do you mean the command systat - it's already there.

Or do you mean the the freebsd package

What is your looking to do exactly? x11 and pfsense not going to get along ;) So I think maybe just a typo for the command your looking for?

        Hi,
Apologies for the late reply. I just don't get up here that often unless I'm having a pfsense issue (which is quite rare). I think I was looking for the sar command equivalent of Linux. It's typically bundled in the sysstat package on Linux. Thought it might be the same in FreeBSD so just looking around for it.

        [2.4.4-RELEASE][root@pfs.localdomain]/root: sysstat
        sysstat: Command not found.

        [2.4.4-RELEASE][root@pfs.localdomain]/root: find /usr | grep sysstat
        [2.4.4-RELEASE][root@pfs.localdomain]/root:

There is no direct equivalent to sar on FreeBSD that I'm aware of. What is your goal, specifically? There may be a better way to achieve it.
