    Hello,

    i just wanted to know whether it is somehow possible for a client machine to detect a NAT Redirection to a local resolver or a NTP time server?

        Not exactly. The solution offered in this discussion on stackexchange needs a second server listening on the destination port. Can I go without this server in some way, for example with a protocol specific attribute of NTP or DNS?

          @woodsomeister Read again the replies. The OP mentions the case that he can't control the "server", he can't "snif" on that side. So I guess the situation is answered.
