HAProxy using url table alias

I'm trying to use a (pfBlockerNG) url table ip alias in HAProxy ACL's and came across this redmine feature #9793 which points to this commit.

When using a pfBlockerNG alias (or any url table ip served from another http server like mentioned in the redmine Feature) it seems the generated /var/etc/haproxy/[aliasname].lst file is empty.

I'm on 2.5.2, do I need to upgrade to use this functionality?
