I manage a pfSense box with multiple gateways. The default gateway is on our campus network but a second interface has a gateway to a cable modem.

A recent event has led to a desire for us to be able to test the throughput of the cable modem. I downloaded the iperf package and am able to use the client portion to test bandwidth but it's testing the default gateway.

Is there a way to set the source address used for the iperf client such as in the ping diagnostics tool?

    Thank you for any help.

@lnguyen Thank you for the reply. Where in the UI would I enter the "-B address" switch?

@ben_p You should be running it from a command prompt.

@ben_p In the UI, Diagnostics Menu | Command Prompt | Execute Shell Command
