OpenVPN connectivity problems
-
So i use OpenVPN client connection to connect to a provider which connects ok, however i lose all my internet access on my LAN when i connect there ?
How can i use this VPN connection for incoming traffic only (TO BE REDIRECTED TO MY NAS) and not outgoing ? as that VPN is for a dedicated static ip for the servers I'm using on my NAS (mail/dns/web/ftp etc)
I added a port forward NAS rule to redirect web and dns traffic to my nas for this, but i lose internet connectivity for some reason and also i dont want to use this vpn for outgoing (i.e. when i surf the internet) only for incoming
what configuration do i do ?
Thanks

@asiawatcher
In the OpenVPN client settings check "Don't pull routes". Your upstream traffic should go out to your default WAN then.Assign an interface to the OpenVPN client instance if you didn't already and enable it.
Movie the rule for allowing the incoming traffic over to this VPN clients interface.
There must no pass rule on the OpenVPN tab and no floating pass rule match the incoming traffic! -
@viragomann Good works great however i have one problem that i had before my website times out when connecting to my static ip (which is port forwarded to my nas) from outside (and inside my lan except the http port which loads the gui of pfsense and not my website) here are some pics
