Following an update to my Netgate 2100 BASE it is not allowing any remote access. So I want to look at console access.

Following the Netgate doco I have a USB cable plugged in, however I can't get past the first step.

The Doco says to locate the device name on Windows, open Device Manager and expand the section for Ports (COM & LPT). But I don't have Ports Section on my Surface hub (screenshot below).

Using PuTTY I tried both com1 and com3 but neither can connect to the Netgate.

Can anyone help me to get console access on my Netgate 2100?

Laptop is SurfaceBook running Win 11 (fully updated etc).

Is that an ARM based tablet? I'm not sure the driver exists for that. You can see the USB serial device is there but no driver has been loaded for it.

      Did this work previously?
