Priority traffic by IP address and not by type of packet!
Sorry for English, but Google is …
We have a structure of multiple servers and workstations.
I want to set some priority like:
- The WLAN hardware priority 1
- The notebook Priority 2
- Fixed stations Priority 3
- The server prirorité 4
The servers are tasks that can do this in time.
But when there is too much traffic, notebook / smartphone that's in wifi can not connect because it's DHCP pfSense which attribute an IP address by MAC and I think the connection between the Wireless and Alix do is not good for traffic .... I think ..
Now all desktops and servers are supposed to do the same thing.
Does the Traffic Shaping can manage priority adress IP or another module and why.?
