Using pfsense NAT libraries in other c++ project?

I'm going to start my c++ project which a server that as a part of its functionality it acts like a NAT server.
I searched around but cant find any libraries or framework that help me do that.
my question is, is there any way to use pfsense code/libraries for building such a thing?
