      Greeting,
I’m testing pfSense 2.0 RC1, and in particular the new OpenVPN capabilities. The installation is on VMWare workstation if this is related. Everything is fine up until now. But when I try to configure new Remote Access (Road Warrior) VPN Server, I can’t select Encryption algorithm.
After searching this forum, I have seen some screen shots in which this drop down is filled with the usual options.

I have tested the stable build and a one from yesterday (pfSense-2.0-RC1-i386-20110412-1110), with the same result.
Could you advise me please, on how to fix this?

That would imply that somehow your system is missing the actual openvpn binary.

Was this a firmware upgrade or a full install?

EDIT: I just checked the current ISO image and the openvpn binary is there.

          It was full install.

The pfSense-2.0-RC1-i386-20110414-0940.iso is OK, just installed it. The drop down is full now, will test these days for the functionality and report back.

          Thank you for the answer.

Everything seems alright, I’ve setup a OpenVPN server with encryption, and successfully connect. Thank you one more time.
