      FYI:
2.0-RC2 (i386) build on Sun May 15 ==> Update to:
      2.0-RC3 (i386) built on Tue Aug 23 17:40:03 EDT 2011

I made on update from RC2 15.5 version to RC3. After update boot installation of the packages went something wrong. After trying to start vm-tools on boot there was an Fatal error: Cannot redeclare test_pfspkg() (previously declared in /usr/local/pkg/squid.inc:1420 in /usr/pkg/open-vem-tools.inc on line 171

After boot squid was down and open-vm-tools was not running. I had to go Diagnostics: Backup/restore page and there  to Package Functions and clear the package lock. Reinstall all system packages fails but it was possible to go System: Package Manager and reinstall only squid and open-vm-tool packages. After that FW is up and running again.

I have WMware ESXi system in use.

That was most likely due to the old system being pretty far out of date.

Had you reinstalled the packages before upgrading it may have been OK. That whole test_pfspkg deal was fixed months and months ago.
