What is Dynamic DNS registration on DHCP configuration ?

Hello,

On DHCP configuration there is an option for dynamic DNS registration. What does that mean ? How does it work ?

I am using dynamic DNS Service on my dynamic WAN address of pfsense so that I reach my pfsense from the internet.
But how does this work on DHCP configuration page ?
